I am just curious when is the next generation of Basic Stamp is going
to be available, if even there are plans... More Ram, timers,
interupts More Eeprom, floating point math. Don't get me wrong I love
the stamp, it simplicity to implement is second to none, I just find
that I am running out of room, and am reaching it's limits.
Best Regards,
Eric

We're way beyond plans, but that's all we can say at this time.

I'd go so far to say that the future is already here in the Javelin. You
can't make me do BASIC again. ;-)

I appreciate that, but I am in need, can you at least give a time
frame. I am tired of dumping good money into bad. I need more power!!
hahahahaha

All kidding aside, no, we will NOT give a time frame. Of course, we
have a target date but we're not saying what that is because if we slip
our phones will be ringing off the hook and we'll never get anything
done (that happened when the BS2 was late). Just rest assured that like
the original BASIC Stamp, the next generation breaks all the established
rules and frees the designer to get done what he or she chooses to get
done.
