What is your objective?
There is a very short section so titled in the Basic Stamp
Programming Manual downloadable from the Parallax site. If that does
not meed your needs, you might try the "What's a Microcontroller"
presentation available here: http://www.parallax.com/html_pages/edu/downloads/wam_pres.asp
If you don't know anything at all about computers and programming you
might want to get an introductory book at the library just to get
some background on the concepts. From there, the Programming Manual
above should be of help along with studying the various example
programs that may be found in many places.
