i am looking to distinguish between two sounds, a clap and a boo
(like boooooo) and for each different sound to trigger a
corresponding action...so when a viewer is told to clap or boo and
they comply, a reward/action happens...if they do the opposite of
what they are told to do, like to clap and they boo instead, then a
different punishment/action would be carried out. i would want a
small box...like an applause box, to switch back and forth between
the words boo and clap that would be used to tell the viewer what to
do, and then depending on how they repsond, an action is carried
out. something like pavlov's dog in psychology. hope that isnt too
complicated. thanks for any help

    Unless you want to have a very high error rate, you're into the realm of
    speech recognition, which requires a lot more mathematics than the bs2 is
    capable of. You might evaluate using an embedded pentium-class device ;
    they're getting quite small these days.
