SV: [basicstamps] Stamp getting very hot
Greetings!
Is it the ENTIRE BS2P40 which heats up, or just one of the IC's on it?
Is the 5V adapter a 'regulated'/'Stabilised' model?
On which pin are you feeding it into the BS2P
:-)

Emne: [basicstamps] Stamp getting very hot
hey everyone,
I have a BS2P40. I have an AC to DC adapter that puts out 5VDC. I
hooked up my stamp with some L293D chips to run stepper motors. Then
I noticed the stamp gets very hot. So hot that you cannot touch it.
I didn't think this was right so I powered down and unhooked all the
I/O. I have everything on a breadboard btw. I powered up the stamp
again and it gets very hot still. Any ideas what could be causing
this?
Thanks,
Greg
