Surelink RF transceiver in Command/Peripheral mode?

We're trying to set up a Surelink RF module using a Board of
Education BS2 unit as a base station. We need to put the transceiver
in "command mode" to communicate with several remote units
in "peripheral" mode. We think we've got the units jumpered right
and the flash memory in the Surelink radio modules properly
programmed with unit access, but we're not sure what to do next. Is
anyone working with this hardware configuration in command-peripheral
mode?
thanks

Command mode, and several Boe-Bots with Surelink modules in
peripheral mode. My first question is how to establish a connection
between the base unit and one of the Boe-Bots. I can do it with the
demo board and software under the command tab, but I don't know how
to use the basic stamp to send the command through the RF module.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Jessica

able or willing to do so. I have really been surprised by the lack
of knowledge about the SureLink transceiver by the staff at Parallax.
For my specific problem, I was able to find a solution by removing
the "base unit" (made up of a Board of Education and Surelink
module) from the chain of command. Instead, I am passing commands
from my PC to the QuickLink demo board, which then broadcasts the
message to my Boe-Bots. I wrote a program in C++ that uses the
serial connection to the QuickLink to pass commands. The required
command structure is available in the help menu of the SureLink
control software, or in a document on Needham's (the manufacturer)
website.
