Anyone know of a Dual-Inline-Package modem IC still in production?

    I did a www.findchips.com search and found no vendors carrying cmx614 or mx614.
    google did find http://www.kd7lmo.net/ which linked to http://www.cmlmicro.com/
    but they do not seem to list it as an active part#

    It "IS" an active part. I just bought 100 a couple of weeks ago. You can
    buy one piece at a time from Far Circuits, including a pc board that
    uses the chip and schematic for using it. Great for breadboarding the
    first modem, or two. Send them an email and they'll respond. Sell
    direct too.
