Hello from Gregg C Levine
I've noticed in the two articles on the concepts of RS-485 networking,
that two different families of parts were chosen. The one written by
Jeff A. Martin, (presumably, since the copy I've got open forgot his
name) uses the one from TI, an SN75176 part. And the one from Scott
Edwards, in a Nuts and Volts article, uses the one from LTC. Obviously
these were chosen, because that's what the authors had on hand. Do any
of the representatives of Parallax have a problem if I substitute
equally configured parts from Maxim for either of those?
