Stamps in space

Besides, that company that's mentioned somewhere on the Parallax
homepage, is anyone aware of anyone else using the Stamps for work in
space? I remember seeing a series of mail messages discussing
something similar. And one from Erik, which mentioned something DARPA
was up to, but that's it.
For myself I am thinking of a Get Away Special Project, approach, and
am scanning around for advice.
