Hi
I am having problem printing with my "reciept Printer"
I was wondering do I need a rs232 driver when I am connecting BS2 to
printer through 25 D-sub, My printer is working on 3to15 as high and
-3 to -15 as high.
But the stamp is working on TTL(0 to 5)
Can anyone please help me???

fact need a line driver (like a MAX232 or equivalent). You may also
need to check your baud settings.

(pin 16)and have both the transmit and receive circuits properly
connected to the printer, it should work without any extra hardware.
Note that some serial printers expect to see pins 4-5 jumpered at the
printer.
If for some reason you have to drive the printer from another set
of pins, then the max232 is the way to go.
