Reading Serial Data in LabView
Archiver

Hello,
I am very new to the Basic Stamp and I had a few questions regarding
getting data off of the Serial Line.
I have 4 Daventech SRF08 Range Finders hooked up to BS2, very similar
to the set up I found here: http://www.robot-
electronics.co.uk/htm/srf08stamp.shtml
Using that same program, the Debug window displays the Light Sensor
and Range readings.
My question is, how can I get those readings into another program,
specifically LabView?
When we try to access the Serial Port through NI Measurement and
Automation studio, it won't let us open a VISA session, I'm guessing
because the port is being used by the Stamp?
Just out of curiosity, we ran a wire from the Sout Pin to the Digital
I/O pin on a DAQ board. We were getting rapid results of 11111110 and
11111111, but what to do with them I have no idea.
I would greatly appreciate any advice!
