Replacing a resistive joystick with BS controll

I am looking for some Ideas to replace a resistive joystick, and use
the BS2 to provide the resistance to the controller. The joystick
has 2 2.5K pots in it, one for hte left motor and one for the right
motor. When the joystick is centered, the resistance on each POT is
1.25K. DOes anybody have any ideas? Thanks,

to give it. What you can do with the BASIC Stamp is use it to control a
couple digital pots. I believe Scott Edwards did a "Stamp Applications"
column some time back on digital pots. You can find it on our web site
(look under Nuts & Volts columns).

potentiometer.
Maxim has many types and values in their D-to-A section.
