be tough and money can be tight. We feel it too; believe me. And

I can see the attitude and the mistakes people make.
I did a small project with one ADC chip. The $10.00 chip, plus
board, plus connectors, plus shipping and the project was close to
$30.00 !
Someone who thinks a $1.00 profit is good may not realize that the
$1.00 needs to pay for about 10 hours of time.
Yes we wish the costs were lower, but the reality is that the one
chip cost is not the whole ball of wax.
But, if anybody wants to put together a couple boards for me, I'll
supply the parts and give them $1.00.

And I agree with you, Jon, regarding those thoughts. Every time I
actually called the 800# on the main website, to either order
something, or ask a technical question, I found the responses, to be
exactly what I wanted to have answers for.
Not what I wanted to hear, but what I wanted to have answered.
In fact during the ordering process for this second Stamp 1, I did
mention your name, if only in passing. The person at the other end,
sounded pleasantly surprised by the reference. The implication was
that, we both knew how good you were at your job. She was just
reassured that I knew that fact. In fact each time I called in
regarding the ordering process, once to order, once to track the
process, the same person answered, and she was very helpful. And since
I understand those sentiments, and support them wholeheartedly, I
won't ask you to divulge a confidence, regarding any sort of new
product, or application. Besides, in my work, I would not want to
either.
And regarding the boob who made those ridiculous statements, we should
find him, or it, and send him to any of three planets known for their
appropriateness for such individuals. In fact I think we should be
sending spammers there. Which thankfully I am happy that there's
nothing like that on this group.
Now before our friendly list manager, gets peeved, we should return to
the normal practice of the discussions of stamp activities. If either
of you want to continue this discussion off list, and not on a company
email account, then please feel free to do so.
