My light dimmer art project is going will using DC,
Mosfets and PWM. Just reqires a big power supply.
Thought I would share another ART project I help my
son with last year. It is a height scales. Don't
laugh. It's Art. It takes your weight and tells you
how tall you should be. He got great reviews and
offers to sell it (Patent Protected). I built it with
an ADC off the Resistance bar, fed into a Stamp 2
which drove a 7219 LED display. It does a relative
reverse calculation from charts that show how much you
should weigh according to how tall you are.
Stamping is a lot of fun.
