control Basic stamp using rf module (frequency question)

Stampers,

I need to send data from one stamp to
a PC using RF.

I want to buy 900 or 2400 Mhz
RF modules, but I know that some RFs frequencies
are better than others If the aplication need
that waves must to cross
a 2" of cement.

Same power RF modules but different
frequency.

thickness= 2" (aprox.)
pipe diameter=50"
