book you guys make avaible to learn to wire the bs2 to sound
aplications such as the light show setup connected to a mixer i
mentioned in my last post, im not recieving any feedback from my
post, so mebe i can atleast get a rep to direct me to the resorce
offered that will explain the functionalities i desire. any feedback
this time?

this happens -- sometimes others haven't done what you want to do and
have nothing to offer. This group tends to be very forthcoming with
information ... so you may want to clarify your original post.
I've never seen a BASIC Stamp wired to respond to sound, but I suppose
it could be done. You could use external filters to provide inputs to
the BASIC Stamp and let your program respond to those inputs. Again,
this is a custom application and it's going to be up to you to create
it.
Let me suggest your search the web for similar discrete projects to
handle the audio end. Once you can get a digital output from a filter
circuit that responds to a given frequency range, you'd be able to write
code to deal with it.
