Basic stamp and wav files

Is there an IC microchip (readily available) that can store and play .wav type
files that has been successfully interfaced with the basic stamp? Rather than
have my basic stamp emmit various tones, I would like to have it play a unique
wav file instead (like my personal computer).
Thanks,
Walter Powers

It comes with a range of preprogrammed files stored, and with some
software and programming cradle:

... you can download your own WAV files for simple playback.
