can someone be more specific for me, is this all i need to work in a
bs2 to a circut? or will i need the eprom and other utils,, i am
under the understanding this chip will replace the bs2 chipset, or

implementation of the circuitry needed to support the BS2 interpreter IC,
including the serial communication capability needed for programming.
You definitely need the EEPROM, since that is where your program code is
stored. You'll also need the resonator, and using the exact Murata part as
used and specified by Parallax is probably a very good plan.
If you were just going to burn your code into the 8-pin EEPROM ICs to
assemble into your products, you could get by without a few of the serial
components since Stamp programming functionality would presumably not be
needed. The components that could be eliminated are not very costly,
however -- just a few cheap transistors and resistors.
You also need the normal stuff like a 5 volt regulator with capacitors, etc.
