The basic Stamp is not capable Of handling the amount of data that comes
out of a cell phone. thats why they developed CAIT "CDMA Air Iterface
Tester" that can actually read all the strings that the cell phone gives
out. there is no way that the Stamp with its little processor can Parse the
data stream of a cell phone, Especially if it is CDMA by Qualcomm. Now if
your wanting to transmit via cellphone its far more trickier than that. a
cellphone will not respond to basic serout or serial commands. Its
programming language is far more superior. unless the Stamp can trasmit
PERL strings then i would find alternate methods of transmission. sorry but
with our technology in cell phones rising i dont see the BS2 coexisting
with any cell phones. Possibly the Javelin can do it because a level of
cell phones use JAVA for applications. you would have to develop a Java
Language for the cell phone to even reconize the Javelin stamp. Best of
luck to you.

into motorola chips. You might find some good information. You can find more
information about the type of java language used to program cell phones and
pagers at www.java.sun.com
