troubles with the BS2sx

I have two BOE modules, one with a BS2 and one with a BS2sx. I
have been using the BS2 with no problem at all. This weekend I
decided to use the BOE with the BS2sx with the same computer,
communication link, etc., and I get the message to check the serial
port and/or power. The program does tokenize. What's wrong?
Thanks for any help.

easier to troubleshoot than those in fighters because big planes have
redundant systems and one can easily move components -- if the problem
moves, problem found.
Since the BOE with the BS2 works, try putting the BS2sx into that BOE
(make sure that you use the same cable and BOE that works with the BS2
-- don't change more than one thing at time). If the BS2sx works then,
the problem is somewhere in the other BOE; if it has problems, then you
may have a duff BS2sx.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I think I did that and that is how I
confirmed that the BS2sx was not functioning. However, I did so many
things this weekend that I not sure as to whether I really tested that
condition. So I will repeat this test tonight.
But, since I have your attention, if I have a duff BS2sx is there a way
that Parallax can repair it?
Thanks again, John
