New User Question-Pager alert

Hello: I am new to the list and new to Stamps.

I am trying to build the page-alert in Tom Petruzzellis -Stamp 2
Communications. I built the tele-alert, and it works somewhat ok,
but I am having a hard time matching the parts list and the circuit
diagram for the page-alert.

Also, the Cermetek Microelectronics recommends the CH1837A rather than
the CH1817D, and not sure it fits the application.
