FIFO chip?

Does anyone know of a dual-ported, fairly large capacity (4k) FIFO?
I'd like to have a Stamp read serial data and push it into such a
device, and another Stamp taking it out.

The rampack b has a clever fifo mode up to 32kbytes, with an app note
on how the data port can be shared between different devices:

I have been thinking about using two pairs of the -165 and -595 chips
to allow my main Javelin to communicate with another Javelin, the
latter doing the 9600 bps I/O with a third device. But it looks as if
the RAMPB might fit the bill.

can this chip be configured as a stack where you can push and pull
bytes or words indivudually.
