Hello Friends,

We are pleased to announce the availability of the new Parallax Servo
Controller (PSC)!

It controls up to 16 servos, and may be networked together so that two
PSC's can control 32 servos using a single I/O line. Luckily for you
and your Parallax microcontroller, the PSC (#28023, $39) manages all of
the servo pulses which enables your BASIC Stamp or Javelin Stamp to take
care of more important aspects of the application.

Here's a brief glimpse of the key features:

Runtime Selectable Baud rate
Servo Ramping
Position Reporting
Network Ready

Check out our web site for more details at this link -

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for finding the spelling mistake. We always appreciate such
feedback to help us correct any mistakes.
Spelling fixes usually don't warrant "fancy prizes." :( I usually judge
submissions on a case by case basis (whether it's source code, an issue
    in a book, etc.)

    I think I see it - I didn't spell "projects" correctly.

Feel free to email me off list.

    Thanks,

I was explaining this to my wife, with the whole
    binary thing in steps...1, 2, 4, 8, etc...I got to
65536 when she said, "Ok, I get the picture..." =)

You should've been here one night when we had a
    discussion about binary...Oh my!

We have enough YOUTH, how about a fountain of SMART!

One of my favorite showing-off-at-party-tricks (I'm a riot) is
counting to 15 (F) on one hand with four fingers. Kiddies crack up when I
get to two. Then the smart ones get *real* quiet when I get past four. :-)

    Chris,
I can't believe that it took you this long to "get" the phone number of
    888 512-1024 :)

The new toll free technical support line is not as subtle..... 888 99
    78267 (spells STAMP)

Yeah, I can see where that could be amusing to some
    youth... =)

Yeah, I guess after all those phone number/word
programs on the VIC-20 & C64 back in the early 80's,
you'd think I'd be better at catching stuff within
    phone numbers.

Good thing Jon was more perceptive when I sent a
smiley face in HEX code pertaining to the LCD
Character creator...Shows that at least SOME of us are
    thinking when we're awake! LOL
