Does the 2x16 Serial LCD that Parallax supplies innately easier to
install, than another LCD display?

You interface to it with simple RS-232 commands,
instead of the arcane Hitachi LCD parallel
commands. It takes fewer pins, and fewer
instructions to use. So yes, I'd say it
is easier than the 'normal' LCD display.

    Brandon,

Serial displays are easier to use than parallel displays. The one Parallax
sells is the same as any other serial LCD.
