help with diagnostics display for car audio

anyone have any suggestions on how i could monitor my trucks dual
battery voltages,and display them on my matrix orbital serial
display.i cant really find any good source code using A/D to make a
voltage gauge with voltages that range from 6 to 20 volts Dc .any
help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
