GPS and RC airplane

Some time ago there was an article on the Parallax site about using a
gps unit with a stamp to track a RC airplane. I have tried to find
the article again but cannot. Does anyone have a copy of it or know
where to find it. It was a PDF file.

Thanks
Brian

Jon Williams wrote about that in his Nuts & Volts column #83. You can find a
link to the PDF file on this page:

Gary, I saw the article you referred to, however, if
he's thinking of what I am, there was a page or two on
the parallax site with full color pictures of the
plane with the BS2 and GPS unit, as well as
screenshots of the plotted data from the system. I do
remember it, but I was unable to find it on the site
    myself.

    Hi all,
I have a download that I think is the article that you're looking for.
I placed it in the files section of this group with the description:
The old 'Datalogging with a Global Positioning System' article from Parallax
The files actual name is: aerogps.zip

    Enjoy,
    Kevin

Ah... I never saw that one, Chris. Maybe Jon can tell us what became of it.

It had alot of pictures...I meant to e-mail Jon and
ask him at the time who was flying the plane, since I
    had just completed one myself.

That was boss, Ken. He builds and flies planes -- I build the
electronics that go onto the planes.

    Yeah Jon,

It's the same old story...You're breaking your back
building the toys, and the boss is out flying his
plane! =) Just kidding. So you know the page I
meant then. I know you said something about it being
uploaded, but the file wouldn't have everything that
was on the page, would it?
