VirtualPC on MacOS X and keyspan USA19QW USB to Serial adapter

Dear All,

I am having troubles to communicate with a BS2 running VirtualPC, emulating
windows XP on MacosX 10.2.8
Messing around, I managed to detect the keyspan within Virtual PC's keyspan
serial assistant on Com 3 and eventually it passes the first tests when
reducing to 8 bit and 9600 etc. but it looses the connection quite promptly
before even trying to use the BAsic Stamp Editor.
I can identify the BS2 on com3 within the BStamp editor but fails to download
and then can't find the port.

Any hints?

Some facts,

I can access the BS2 with MAcBS2 from MacosX
Virtual PC can only detect the keyspan if I uninstall the keyspan from MacosX,
restart. Then wait until VirtualPC/XP detects the new hardware and then
activate the USB devices on Settings *keyspan USA-19W and the USB apple.
COM port options on Settings are not activated.
The Com 3 detection seems quite flicky
On a PC everything works pretty smoothly but we only have macs here...

Help is very much appreciated.

Editor in debugger mode within VIrtualPC using the keyspan but can not dowload
symbolic data to the basic stamp
