Can''t program from laptop

You did not mention if you are using a USB
to serial adapter with the laptop -- some
of these (especially the ones to connect
PDA's) don't work with the BS2.
Bafo and Keyspan are good brands of USB
to serial converters which work well.
Second thing: You may need to set your
FIFO on your laptop serial port to 0.
Toshiba's are infamous for this.
