Hi all,
I would appreciate any help or input anyone has.
I need to record data on a DVD along with a video clip and be able to
read the data while the video is playing, and input into a BS2 in
order to position a camera at a location and at the time the DVD
says.
Anyone have any ideas?
Using the time code seamed like a good one at first but then each
program would only work with a certain DVD.

VBI encoding/decoding is used for closed captions, subtitles/text,
there are lots of off the shelf circuits for vbi encoding/decoding
