Capacitor Type

Hi Everyone,

My project has made it to the point where it works well and I would
like a make custom PCB.

The NX-1000 24/40 board has box shaped capacitors for the power
circuit. What kind are they and if necessary, can I substitute
something else?

Thank!

Take care,
Frank

Please, please, please ... if you're going to make your own circuit
board save yourself a whole lot of trouble by following one of our
schematics. We make schematics avaialable for our BOE and other
programming boards. They show all the connections and have a suitable
    power supply for many circuits.

    Jon,

Thanks for the info! Greatly appreciated. Advice taken. Board is
    now designed. Need parts.

So, what kind of caps are the rectangular ones on the Inex Board? I
am a software guy and only recognize those blue canned ones, i.e.,
    eletrolytic.

    Take care,
    Frank

You can use 0.1 uF monolythic caps. And ... maybe you should find a
hardware guy (or gal) to build the board for you.
