Servo duration

Hello,

I ma using the Parallax standard servo. The documentation I have states that
the durtation should be between 500 and 1000 to achieve a 180 degree
sweep. However, with the servo I have I need to use 250 and 1100 to achieve
a 180 degree sweep. Is there a problem with my servo, or will this damege the
servo, or is this just variance not unusual.

Carl

    Carl,

    I agree with your values.

I have not yet examined it more closely to see how much variation there
is from one servo to the next.

Make sure to verify is that the servo is not pushing against its
internal mechanical stoppers at either end of its range of motion.

BTW, sorry about the misprint; we'll fix it. Its an artifact from the
servos we were using before we upgraded to higher quality standard and
continuous rotation servos we are using now.
