OT? Chains.

Greetings!
I'm considering a 'small' automation project at home, and need some sort
of chains.
They must be reasonably cheap, long and easy to attach something to.
Something like bicycle-chains, but with holes through the link-pins, for
example, would be just perfect.
(The holes would then be at a fixed distance even when the chain bends,
unlike if they're in the middle of the links)
Anyone seen anything like it?
