Can I use the Memsic 2125 Acclerometer to balance a 2-wheeled robot or use it as

not linear acceleration as does an accelerometer. There are many gyro
chips and systems available.

(www.analog.com) ADXRS150. It can measure up to 150 degs / sec of
rotational rate or speed. It also comes with an easy to use development
kit which provides an analog out signal.
I'd love you hear how your project proceeds. I know someone else who did
this but their "complete" system goes for around $5000. Perhaps you've
heard of it!
Good Luck

It would be better to use a true gyro, which measures angular velocity,
not linear acceleration as does an accelerometer. There are many gyro
chips and systems available.
