DC to DC converters

Hi All,
I need a 5V to 12V DC to DC converter (switching type at least
500mA). I'd like to find one that doesn't require external components
but that is proving to be difficult. Anyone know of any part numbers
off hand? Surely somebody makes one that doesn't require externals.
Thanks.

all into one. But upon reading, they required external bypass capacitance
on input and output for stability<G>.

have a look at Maxim, Texas and Linear DCDC supllies.
Im using some low power Stepup's DCDC, and they prove to be very reliable.

don't require external components of some kind are the "potted"
variety and they are $$$. I'm really just trying to reduce my
component count. Maxim makes a number of nice parts but they require
at least an inductor, and a couple bypass caps, no big deal really.
Thanks all for the suggestions.
