Meccano type construction kits avaliable?

I'm living in the UK and looking for construction kits like the old
Meccano to build robotic arms n stuff.
So metal plates, nuts, bolts, drive trains, nylon washers, gears,
servos and the like... in one big kit or something like that.
any ideas?
