Battery Level Meter-Thanks

Thanks everyone,
I had thought about doing an RC network, but thought I would
check to see what others were doing. I mainly just wanted to be able
to know where my battery was as far as the power was concerned.
Again, thanks for all the help.

David

There are many ways to skin this cat, so to speak. Tracy's solution is
probably the simplest. You could also run your battery voltage through
a divider and directly to a pin such that a low voltage would cause less
than 1.4v at the junction of the divider. This is the Stamp's 0-1
threshold and could be used as a warning that your battery is about to
give up on you. For an adjustable threshold, as simple comparitor could
be rigged. For more precision, there are a variety of ADCs that are
easy to implement. The fun part is the various options and finding what
    works best for your application.
