Anybody know What is the Utility of a SLOT (Programing Utility)

Dear My friends....

I don't understand What is the utility of the SLOT when you programmin the
BasicStamp.... Anybody understand it.... Please let me know When i need to
use the SLOT when i am programing a program in BS2P

"SLOT" is just another word for the program "bank" on the BS2p. The
BS2p has 8 possible program banks (=slots). You can gain access
across the slot boundaries using the commands RUN, STORE, READ and
WRITE. There is information in the manual and in the online help.
