In- and Out-puts, and where to find them

Neal,

Pins numbered 0 through 15 are available for any use, such as switches. If
you look on the Parallax site you will find all the docs that came with the
BOE and much more. Get the latest version of the StampWorks pdf, it shows
how to hook up switches and such. VDD = regulated +5V, VSS = ground and VIN
= the unregulated input voltage you are powering the BOE with.

As to a speaker, you can only run a small peizo type speaker directly from
the Stamp. If you want it louder, you will have to use a transistor to drive
it.
