Tokens and Tokenisation?
Tokenisation is the process of converting your PBASIC programs into
compact binary data.
(This is called Translation on some other systems)
These Data is what's known as tokens, and are interpreted by the
software onboard the Basic Stamp.
Because the program is verified for syntax errors when Tokenised and all
labels are replaced by other, more compact, references, you end up with
a very compact data set which doesn't need error-checking when
'executed' on the BS.
