Need Help on PWM motor control please :)

Hi
I wanted to create a system which uses a microcontroller (pref a
stamp or other simple to program processor) which is able to take
serial data and produce high frequency (optimally I am looking to
have 20khz or better) PWM output to drive a pair of motors through a
Discrete H-bridge or a H-Bridge IC. Has anyone done anything like
this that takes the burden off the main processor, allowing the
primary processor to send the speed and directional info and the
secondary processor which takes control of the motors?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

products from Pololu and Solutions Cubed. Check the robotics section of
our web site. These products have the H-Bridges integrated though.
With a bit of code and some programming you might be able to roll your
own using our PWMPAL for the pulse generation.
