Two Stamps talking using 1-wire protocol

Can two stamps communicate with each other using the 1-wire
protocol? For example, I would like one stamp to mimick the
DS1820 temperature chip when "send scratchpad ram ($CC, $BE)" is
received. Then the one stamp would send back the 8 bytes that
contains the temperature info.
Or another way to put it, does anyone have Stamp code that could
mimick the DS1820?
Thanx,

capable of being a 1-Wire slave. Since 1-Wire read and write slots are
very specific, I don't think you could "bit-bang" it.
