Hi Dave,
If you are concerned about revealing your secrets, you can layout the
whole Stamp circuit and then just buy the OEM chip. Also, more than
a few people have taken sandpaper to the top of a chip and removed
traces of the the origin. You might get decent results with one of
those label making machines with your private label numbering.
As far as PCB software, ExpressPCB is one of the beginners
favorites. No cost to get started and decent prices for prototype
mini-boards.
Also, there are some of the Stamp chips in a library that you can use.

alternate stamp. I guess there are some who don't know that
it uses the Parallax interpeter chip just like any self
respecting stamp does. I didn't expect to recieve the flames
that I've recieved as a result. Fortunatly most of them have
not been on this forum but they did come from people on this
forum.
As for expresspcb and other issues that hev been presented,
I already know all of that. I use expresspcb a lot already.
I love stamps. I love Parallax. I am going to use their p40
PBASIC chip. I've bought over a hundred BSIIs from them and
their distriubtors. I was just trying to find out if anyone
already had produced an expresspcb layout for the BS2p40 OEM
chipset to save me the afternoon it would have taken to do
myself.
I just wanted a BS2p40.pcb file. I don't want to steal
anything from parallax, I just get tired of know it all
engineers who look at the board and declare, 'Oh, it's just
a stamp'. While it is true that it is a stamp, and I don't
want to take anything away from Parallax and the great stuff
they do, its what's inside the stamp that counts and that's
all I'm trying to market and protect. I'm just trying to cut
our production costs so we can lower the cost of our
products.
I should note that Parallax doesn't seem to be offended by
my efforts.
Geeees fellas. Lighten up!
