BS1= reliable at 2400 baud?

Hi All,
I am working on a project that I want to be compatible with the BS1.
Unfortunately, I don't have one, so I want to know if the BS1 does serial
communication reliably at 2400 baud. I could also set it to 1200, but I want
to keep it as fast as possible.
Thanks,
Jonathan

notice that many "older" serial accessories that were designed to
accommodate the BS1 (as well as other devices) have baud rates of 2400
and 9600 -- they would have gone lower if 2400 wasn't reliable.

I just wanted to be sure that this device would work well with the BS1, and
I have never used one.
Thanks!

course it works. Nobody is more excited than me that I can now program
it from our Windows tool. The BS1 ROCKS!!! Okay, before you laugh at
me and call me a baffoon, remember that every microcontroller
manufacturer in the world makes an 8-pin device -- the BS1 was there a
long time ago and is easier to program! Our biggest seller to OEMs is
the BS1.

I wasn't doubting the BS1! I just wanted to make sure the device I am
working on will work with one. I know the BS1 is still quite popular, and
even more so with the new editor. That's why I want it to work with it!
