dc to dc conversion

hello group.

I have a solar panel with a nominal output of 6v, and I need 9v to
power part of a circuit. Can anyone advise me on the best way to do
that? I've heard of dc to dc converters but I've never used one.

any advice welcome, thanks!

    Mark,

I see there has been no action on this thread. Try the group
Electronics_101. Also, you might find something in the MAX232A
documentation. It has a power pump that doubles the voltage.

    Take care,
    Frank
