Anyone worked with RDS / RBDS broadcast text?

Has anyone tried to build an RDS/RBDS radio broadcast, text decoder? I
would like to interface with a STMicroelectronics TDA7479 or TDA7330
chip and decode it's output into ASCI data.

Any assistance would be appriciated,
