Suggestions Wanted: Stamp Control of aDrill

Tim,
I'm not sure SSRs like PWM. I know some don't, but it may be fine on others.
Someone who knows more will probably chime in. You could consider an
H-bridge for variable speed and reverse.

motor wouldn't work if you happened to output PWM in such a way that you
clipped the upper half of the AC wave, leaving only the lower half, which
might be a reality, even if the SSR latency was instantaneous.

with need time keeping, I used a pocketwatch but it pull to much current for
