I don't think it's rated for lower than 0°C
As a matter of fact, I think only the 2e 'industrial' model is rated for any
negative temperatures at all.
Yes, the chips can take it, but the big question is whether or not the oscilator
can handle it.
Some are VERY temperature dependent.
(Just look at DalSemi 1-wire thermometers. They all use internal oscilators to
measure temperatures. :-)
Go too low and they may not even start...
