Intermittant boot problem

I have built a series of boxes, and they work well, with a BS2.
However, sometimes I like to plug the rs-232 back into the connector to see
what is going on. Intermitantly, when I do this, the BS2 reboots. I know
this because of what it says, and I hear the relays (which are driven by the
BS2) clicking exactly like they do when I reprogram the BS2.
Any clues? I'm worried that there is a Voltage difference between the lines
of the BS2 in the box, and the computer lines; as I plug them in, which
causes this. But haven't tested that theory yet.

BS2. If you havn't done anything special to
the DTR line (ie the default is Active) then
it will reset the stamp when you plug it in.
Solutions: Disconnect DB-9 Pin 4.
Even having a capacitor in series won't
prevent a reset on initial plug-in.
