BS1 serial interface

Congratulations for developing a serial interface for the BS1. It was a
sadly lacking feature for folks that deal with both BS1 and BS2 series
modules.
Now that a serial interface editor has been developed for the BS1, are
there any plans to incorporate the RS-232 connector directly on the BS1
OEM version????

Thanks for your excitement about the BS1 serial interface.
I'll check with engineering to see if this is in the works.

Engineering helped me find out the answer to your question.
1) The OEM BS1 is intended to demonstrate the BS1 circuit, and since the
BS1 Serial Adapter does not exist within that circuit, it may only serve
to confuse customers trying to incorporate the raw BS1 circuitry into
their designs.
2) You can use the existing BS1 OEM schematic along with the BS1 serial
adapter schematic in lieu of a schematic that does not yet exist. Both
are available on our web site.
