hey
this is my first post, i'm a relative newbie to stamps
does anyone out there have a few clever hints (or schematic)
on how to extract input from a GSR ? (galvanic skin resistor
which i have already built cheaply out of velcro and tinfoil)
i am hoping to pass it through an ADC with parallel outputs
(so does anyone know of a good ADC with parallel output?)
thanks

Hi,
Could you clarify your question a little? You have a GSR, which I am
assuming is some sort of variable resistor. And you want an ADC to
continuously sample the resistance value, and output that resistance
value in parallel data to the Stamp. Is that right?
What is going to matter in designing the circuit and choosing parts
are things like how often the ADC needs to sample to detect a change,
the noise and resolution of the GSR and ADC, and how often your Stamp
program will come back and check on the value of the parallel data.
I'm not trying to blow you off, but these sorts of questions could
change your choice of parts and therefore your schematic.
