You might also consider pneumatics for your power source to avoid the
possibility of a mess in case of leaks in an enclosed area. There are
also 1/4 scale servos which pack a pretty good punch that may work for
    you.
The Basic Stamp is quite capable of handling the control of either
    type of system.

I would consider using pneumatic conrols. You can get air cylinders in just
about any size and configuration you may need and controls are nothing more
than turning on/off an air valve and maybe sensing some positions. You may
want to look at the TFS-1 board at http://www.geocities.com/jimforkin2003/
that can control 8 valves and sense inputs from sensors or switches. It
supports all 24 pin stamp modules such as the bs2 and allows programming and
debug functions on one connector and serial input on another at the same
time if you want to control functions using a serial port from a pc. Status
LED's on each output make for easier programming since you can see what is
happening on the outputs at any time.

    Hi,

One of my friend is making Toy Dinosaurs and he required movement for the
same. Toy in the sense those sizes are 8 feet height and 10 feet long So
they r not actually toys but the are meant to kept in Park.

The Neck movement is required all the directions and mouth is vertical.

As per my concern I think going for Hydraulic pressure system with
    some mechanical parts.

Can anyone give me inputs on this.

    1.Which microcontroller is best
    2. Which pressure system is good..
    Any other suggestions..

    Thanks in Advance.
